Fismuler

Neighborhood: El Born
This sleek, contemporary restaurant in the Hotel REC offers small plates and live entertainment. They offer live music every evening, so it’s the perfect choice for a classy, relaxing evening with a glass of wine as a soulful guitarist serenades you. It’s an elegant atmosphere with excellent food, although it’s on the pricier side.
New Fizz

Neighborhood: Eixample Dreta
This classic, casual bar is often filled with locals, seated at the tables lining the walls of the cozy venue. It’s 100% live music, all the time, open every night from 20:30 until 3:00 in the morning. Patrons are greeted with popcorn at the entrance and crowds are known to start dancing in the aisles. The beer is cheap and entry is free, so the bar tends to fill up (especially on the weekends). Get there early if you want a seat.
Curtis Audiophile Café

Neighborhood: Eixample Esquerra
Although you won’t see instruments, with Curtis’ curated selection of vinyls and top-tier sound system, you’ll feel like the artists are in the room with you. It remains relatively chill on weekdays, it has grown in popularity over the last few years so it’s often bursting at the seams with a young, hip crowd every weekend. If you’re seeking space, head straight to the alcove in the back, which seats 10-12 people.
Oblicuo Hi-Fi Bar

Neighborhood: Gracia
This is another, slightly more elevated hi-fi experience with a sleek, modern interior. Nestled in an alley off of Travessera de Gracia, Oblicuo just celebrated its 1-year anniversary in October 2024 but is already a staple of the neighborhood. It has plenty of regulars for its curated DJ sets, live performances and high-fidelity listening parties. It was featured in Louis Vuitton’s Barcelona City guide last August, a testament to its refined sensibilities. Walk-ins only.

It has a bit more diverse offering, with small-format live performances from standup comedy to open mics to intimate musical performances. While the shows are often in Spanish or Catalan, there are some bilingual options. Hours and operations vary weekly; check their Instagram for the latest updates.
Guzzo

Neighborhood: El Born
A vibrant space blending live music, art, and dining, Guzzo hosts eclectic performances from Latin rhythms, jazz and soul bands to DJs. They host dinners with live music every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and DJs nightly from 22:00 onward. Don Bar

Neighborhood: Eixample Esquerra
At Don Bar the live music is you! This cocktail-turned-karaoke-bar is open daily from 19:00 to 2:30 (extended slightly to 3:00 on the weekends). It’s open-format karaoke so the whole room will revel in your performance. Whether you head there with a group or sing a ballad with a stranger, you’ll all be friends by the end of the night. If you have a bit of performance anxiety, it can also be rented out for private events (which include an open bar).
23 Robadors

Neighborhood: El Raval
Rounding out the list is 23 Robadors in El Raval, a neighborhood joint that celebrates the arts of flamenco and jazz.
